SANDYMOUNT CABS - DUBLIN, IE

Booked wheelchair taxi for invalid wife to go from Sandymount to Seafield Rd., Killiney, to-day. Nice driver but hadn't a clue how to get there. All over Killiney for ages before finally, flukily, finding the road. Apologised profusely and said he wouldn't charge "waiting time" while we made a brief visit to a Friary but that he'd charge only for each trip. Took him ages to figure out how to fix the wheelchair to floor. When we reached home, he then - and only then - said the "office" had told him to charge for the "waiting". A whopping €88 less (big deal!!) €8 for "inconvenience". Not impressed!!! Eamon Rohan ( 01 2693968)
